C. P. Johnson, 69, of 565 Woods Dr., NW, died Tuesday in a private hospital after an illness of two months.
Mr. Johnson has been employed by Atlantic Steel Co. for 20 years. Born in Haralson County, he had lived there for many years, moving to Atlanta about 35 years old.
Surviving are his wife, the former Mary Alice Garner; a son, H. F. Johnson of Atlanta; a daughter, Mrs Effie Coker of Buchanan, and several sisters and brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Spring Hill. Burial will be in Crest Lawn Cemetery. The minister will be announced.
