Elizabeth Perry, 87, of Jasonville passed away at 10:25 a.m. Thursday, May 5, 2022 in Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

She was born May 3, 1935 in Augusta, Ga. to Carl Jenkins and Myrtle (Jordan) Jenkins.

Elizabeth married Donald J. "Don" Perry on July 28, 1953, and he passed away on November 10, 2021.

Survivors include her children, Jim Perry of Ellettsville and Gail Ann Ray of Port Orange, Fla.; grandchildren, Matt Ray (Tiffany), Jonathan Ray (Kasey), Kelly Pitts (Kenneth), Mark Perry and Josh Perry; great-grandchildren, Ariana, Aubriella, Jordan and Kloee; sister, Shirley Doyle of Augusta, Ga. and some nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Emmy Hughbanks and brothers, Ed Palmer, Herbert King and David King.

Elizabeth was a loving wife and mother, and enjoyed caring for her family.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville. Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2022 at the funeral home. Services are immediately following at 1 p.m..

Interment will be at Worthington Cemetery in Worthington.
