Thomas J. Oswald
December 25, 1945 - November 10, 2021

Thomas was born on December 25, 1945, in Pittsburgh, PA. The son of Wilbert and Margaret(Moeller) Oswald. He passed after a short illness on November 10, 2021, in Ross Twp at the age of 75.

Tom is survived by his loving wife Bonnie (Butera) Oswald. His beloved daughters and their spouses: Trisha (Luke) Schrim and Katie (Matthew Clark) Oswald. Dedicated grandfather to Elizabeth, Victoria, Jacob, and Aiden. Tom is also survived by his siblings Wilbert Oswald, James Oswald, Gene Oswald, and Sally Hansel.

Though he held a myriad of positions throughout his career, Thomas Oswald was, first and foremost, a professional family man. His love for life did not come to an end with his death and his loved ones will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest. His regrets are few. A peaceful and often smiling man who aimed high but thrived on the simple pleasures in life. He had an uncanny ability to find happiness in his daily activities. Always a source of positivity, his laughter would often overtake him. He was a rare combination of someone who had a love of life and a firm understanding of what was important – the simplicity of living a life with those you love.

He took people for what they were and not who they were expected to be. He was strong and unwaveringly supportive to his wife and daughters and a man who just did not seem to quite understand the word "no" to his grandchildren. His passion for babysitting was rivaled only by his determination to provide for his family and giving them the life he envisioned. Family meant more to him than anything in the world. Something he proudly and often mentioned. He was also an avid sports fan and loved golf and bowling.

In life we loved you intensely, in death, that does not change. It broke us to lose you now, but you did not go alone, for part of all of us went with you that day.
