Sharon fought a short battle with Cancer and joined her Heavenly Father on May 4th. She grew up in the Poly area of Fort Worth before moving to Hurst in 5th grade. She was a 1974 graduate of LD Bell H.S. and then became a Directory Assistance Operator for Southwestern Bell, where she retired from after 23 years. Later she volunteered at Twice Blessed Resale Shop in Hurst for 4 years, where she was able to mentor others on sobriety. She moved to Granbury and married Burton Lewis on July 4, 2006, after 9 years together, so she could have fireworks every year on their anniversary. She enjoyed playing Mexican Train Dominos with her family and seeing her grandkids as much as possible. She was preceded in death by her brother, Alan Moss; her nephew, Matthew Henderson; her parents Okley and LaVern Moss and her brother-in-law Steve Malone. She is survived by her husband, Burt Lewis of Granbury, her daughters, Lindsey (Paz) Lopez of Fort Worth, Lauren (Eddie) Devins of Lipan, her sisters Marilyn (John) Luton of Granbury and Terry Malone of Hurst. She has 3 grandchildren: Lucas and Zoe Lopez and Abigail Devins. Many other family members will miss her as well. There are no services planned at this time per Sharon's request.
