Wyla Carlisle passed away in Boise, Idaho on 18 august 2021. She was 97 at the time of her death. She was born March 26th, 1924 to Alton Elbern Theobald and Irene Theobald, in Hinckley, Utah the eldest of fifteen children, she graduated from Hinckley High School in 1942, she moved to Salt Lake City, shortly after graduation and worked in a radio factory in support of the WW II Service members, when she met her future husband Donald Eugene Carlisle, they were married August 25, 1923. She had two children Don Lynn Carlisle (Helen) Boise, Idaho, Patricia Ann Allred (Kurt)Kearns, Utah, and two adopted girls Tonya Sue Carlisle, St. George, Utah and Tammie Lee Carlisle (deceased) Bountiful, Utah. They have 14 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Great Great Grandchildren Blakelyn Carlisle, Braylee Carlisle, Scarlett Carlisle, and Addelyn Lidell.

She is survived by her Son Don Lynn Carlisle, Daughter Patricia Ann Carlisle, and Sister Ione DeMille (Roy, Utah), Brothers Charles Eldon Theobald (Las Vegas, Nevada), Susann Scheiss (St. George, Utah), Tommy Wayne Theobald (Hinckley, Utah).

She is preceded in death by Parents Alton Elbern and Irene Theobald, Brothers and Sisters Leo Burgess Theobald, Mary Margaret Irby, Elbern DeNore Theobald, Thilda Jane Remington, Alton Eldred Theobald, Irene LeRae Peterson, Lena Ruth Harney, Deloy Theobald, and Jarrell Theobald, Devon Theobald.

Wyla was a devoted mother, grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She devoted her life to the family always having children with her. She always had soft hands and a warm heart. She will be deeply missed.

Interment will be at Memorial Lake View Cemetery Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 11:00 am.
