Kelly - Kathleen, passed away May 1, 2022, (age 84). Born February 19, 1938, in Queens, NY. Predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Thomas Kelly; father, John Moorehead; mother, Elizabeth (Muirhead) Moorehead; and brother, James Moorehead. Survived by children, Patricia Kelly, Eileen (Kelly) Brett, and Thomas Kelly; grandchildren, Michael Lennon, Maryann Lennon, Joanna Lennon, Kelly Brett, Molly Brett, Aidan Kelly, Megan Kelly, and Liam Kelly; and nephews, Patrick Kelly and John Kelly. Kathleen was a dedicated mother and devoted wife. Kathleen adored her grandchildren and loved to boast of their accomplishments. Kathleen spent much of her bookkeeping career with Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein, P.C. Kathleen was passionate about her work and loved the library, reading books, and the newspaper. Visitation was held from 8:30-9:30 AM Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Weigand Brothers Funeral Home on Hillside Ave., Williston Park, NY. Funeral Mass followed at 9:45 AM at St. Aidan's Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association www.alz.org. Interment is at Holy Rood Cemetery.
