Raymond was a Native of New Orleans, LA and a retiree of the Regional Transit Authority after 31 years of service in 1997. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley J. Harvey; father, Daniel Harvey; stepfather and Howard Frederick, Jr. He leaves to cherish his memories 4 children, Pamela, Raymond Jr. (Francheska), and Jessica Harvey and Kendrick Foster (Whitney); granddaughter, Lily Micah Harvey; mother, Nellie Washington Frederick; step mother, Nettie Ruth Harvey; 12 siblings, Larry Sr. (Ella Mae), Daniel III, Anthony, Stanley (Debra), Cassandra, Mary and Danielle "Sue" Harvey; Wanda Newell (Bernard Sr.), Pamela Dumas (Bertrand Sr.), Rosalind Johnson (Kevin), Kim Frederick and Connie Johnson; 2 brothers in law, Harry "butch" Berry and Joseph Jackson, Jr. (Gertrude Theresa) and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives, friend of the family, members of Greater Liberty Baptist Church and employees of the Regional Transit Authority are invited to attend his Home Going Celebration on Saturday, January 13, 2018, 10:00 am at First Pilgrims Baptist Church, 1228 Arts Street, NOLA Rev.
