Linda Jane Phillips, 80, of Greensboro, passed away peacefully, at home on Saturday, April 30, 2022.

She was born on September 27, 1941, to Coy Fagg and Vannie Mabe Fagg in Summerfield, North Carolina.

Linda attended Lees-McRae College where she received her Associate's Degree.

She married Robert Lewis Phillips MD on November 18, 1969. Together they raised her daughter Kimberly T. Dowdy. She had three stepsons Eric, Kirk, and Robin Phillips.

She started her career as a medical secretary and finished it as a Unit Coordinator at Fellowship Hall. She loved her co-workers and thought of them as family.

Linda was a member of the infamous Moosette Club. These ladies were friends for many years enjoying beach trips, tennis, and luncheons. Her Bingo addiction started at the Elks Club and then moved to the Moose Lodge. She also loved playing the slots in Las Vegas with her friends.

Linda was one of a kind. She loved her family and friends with her true heart and treated everyone with kindness.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and her brother, David Fagg. She is survived by her daughter Kimberly T. Dowdy (Eric) of Winston Salem; her brothers: Louis Fagg of Siler City and Harry Fagg of Siler City; her niece, Tammy F. Wester of Pittsboro; her stepsons: Eric Mckee Phillips (Anna) of Greensboro, John Kirk Phillips (David) of Milwaukie, Oregon, Robert Lewis Phillips Junior (Cathy) of Raleigh; her stepdaughters-in-law: Valerie Phillips of Greensboro and Karen Phillips of Greensboro; her grandchildren: Nancy Williams, Drystan Phillips, Zach Phillips, Jonathan Scott Phillips, Eliza Phillips, Ren Phillips, Sara Katelin Pauls, and Jessie Nealen; and eleven great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank Amedisys Hospice and Coleman's Home Health Services for their loving care. The family is also very grateful to Carol Bateman of Haw River, for being a faithful family friend.

A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 14 at 11:00 a.m., at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 3906 West Friendly Avenue, Greensboro, NC, 27410. A fellowship gathering at the church will follow.
