Jack Thomas Cook III, age 46, of Enterprise, Alabama previously of Midland Michigan, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2022, in Hastings, Michigan. Jack was born on June 10, 1975, the son of Jack and Carolyn Cook.

Jack attended Bullock Creek High School and proceeded on to earn his Associate Degree in Turf Management from Michigan State University, despite being a lifelong Wolverine fan. Jack worked at many golf courses throughout Northern Michigan before changing careers to work for Walmart.

Jack, first and foremost, was an animal lover, always wanting to save any animal he encountered. He loved golf and all seasons of fishing. He also loved the Detroit Lions as best as anyone could. He will always be remembered for his undying love for his dogs, the game of golf and making people laugh.

Jack was preceded in death by his Father Jack Thomas Cook Jr., Grandmother Corabel Cook, Grandmother Veda Maxon, his Uncle Ken Cook, Aunt Sally Farley, Uncle Hack Farley, Uncle Frank McCarthy, Cousins Paula Kay, Ashley, and Melinda.

Jack is survived by his Mother Carolyn Cook (Morley Johnson), Grandfather Jack Thomas Cook Sr., Brother Don Cook and Sister-in-law Mary Beth Cook, Nephews Hunter and Thomas Cook Partner and Best Friend, Nickie Wetherell, as well as many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022, from 10-12:00 PM, with a service to follow at 12:00 PM at the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Home, 1200 W. Wheeler Street; Midland, MI 48640.
