Wallace W. Beasley, 84, of Leawood, KS passed away on January 11, 2008 at St. Joseph Hospital. Wallace was born November 2, 1923 in Mission, KS, the son of George E. and Mary L. Beasley.

He proudly served in the Naval Submarine Service from October 1942 to November 1945. Mr. Beasley was a graduate of KU and was a civil engineer and a partner of Larkin & Assoc. for 40 years. He retired in 1988. He served as a city engineer for Westwood City, KS until his death. He was an avid golfer at Loch Lloyd Country Club.

Wallace was preceded in death by his parents, George & Mary, and brother Ernest Beasley. Survivors include his loving wife Grace Beasley, three sons: Steven & his wife Toni, Dan & his wife Judy and Chris & his wife Deb. Visitation will be from 5:00- 7:00pm on Tuesday, January 15 at the Mount Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. Memorial services will be held at the Village Presbyterian Church, 6641 Mission Road, at 2:00pm on Wednesday, January 16. Private burial in the Mount Moriah Cemetery.

He had many grandchildren: Scott Beasley & his wife Kristen, Brittany Beasley, Valerie Fuchs, Chris Fuchs, Abby Stechmann, Josie Stechmann, Chris Burdette and Craig Welch. Great grandchild Tessa Beasley.
