James Dale Adams, 57, of Bellflower, MO, died on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at his home. James Dale Adams was born on August 5, 1964 in Washington, MO, to his biological parents, Jimmie Sohn and Donna Stokes Adams, he was later adopted by Gary Adams. Mr. Adams graduated from Montgomery County High School in Richmond, Kentucky and was a Veteran of the United States Army. He worked for a siding company until his health started to decline. Mr. Adams was an avid Kentucky Wildcats Basketball fan and enjoyed visiting with all his family and friends. Mr. Adams is survived by his children: Jammi Tate of Bellflower, MO; Miranda Adams of East Peoria, IL; and Dalton Adams of Moline, IL; two grandsons: Gary and Waylon Tate of Bellflower, MO; and his adopted father, Gary Adams of Bellflower, MO. Also surviving are three sisters: Amber Sohn of St. James, MO; Heather Sohn of Lonedell, MO; and Lisa Hahne of Washington, MO; his longtime friend, Mary Hofmeister of Bellflower, MO; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his biological parents, Jimmie Sohn and Donna Stokes Adams; and two brothers: Matt Sohn and Kevin Sohn. Mr. Adams will be cremated and there will be services at a later date.
