James Earl Gray age 67 of Mt. Vernon, KY, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022, at his residence.
James was born August 28, 1954, in Mt. Vernon, KY to the late Tyree and Maggie Gray. He was of the Baptist faith and spent his time repairing watches.
Those left to celebrate his life are his three children: Daniel Gray of Mt. Vernon, KY, Jessica Gray, and Maggie Smith and husband Jay of Brodhead, KY; nine grandchildren: Candice Kidwell; two great-grandchildren: Willow Kidwell, Lexi Bradley; and one sister: Dee Howard and husband Joe of Mt. Vernon, KY; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings: Eugene, Tyree Jr., Charles Lewis, and Edward Franklin Gray, Mildred Bales, Lorretta Tolle, Katherine Robinson, and Edna Marcum.
