Keith Baker, age 82, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was born on May 25, 1939, in Beaverdam, Wisconsin, to the late Byron Baker and Erma Shanley. During his lifetime he was a builder and carpenter, in early years with his father in Ferndale Michigan. Keith moved north in the 80s and started his own business Baker construction in National City, Michigan. Keith work in the warmer months and travel January through April with his wife Florance, up until her passing. He loved being outdoors hunting for deer and turkey, playing cards, spending time with his family and was loved by many.

Surviving Keith are his two daughters Susan (Cindy) Pickering, Brenda Stevenson and one son Timothy Arwood. Eight grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Three siblings Karen (Neil) Oaks, Kalvin (Butch) (Linda) Baker, Kathy (David) Fakes, and sister-in-law Maryellen Baker and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his wife Florance, daughter Lynn Buchanan, daughter-in-law Carolyn Arwood, son-in-law Tom Stevenson, and two brothers Kendall Baker and Kenneth Baker

According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lee-Ramsey Funeral Home-Gladwin Chapel.
