Age 35, passed away on May 3, 2022. She was born in Kalamazoo on October 14, 1986, the daughter of David Sherman and Penny Nichols. Michelle attended school in Kalamazoo and at Gull Lake where she was an active member of the band and made many friends. Michelle loved being outdoors and enjoyed camping, working on landscape projects and playing outdoor games. When able, she loved to spend time with family and friends. She will be missed by all those who loved her.

Michelle is survived by her only son, Jeremy Leonard; father, Dave (Sarah) Sherman; mother, Penny Brandon; sister, Nichole (Drew Richmond) Sherman; three step-siblings, Charles (Dawn) Barber, Desiree Solomon, Christopher Price; paternal grandparents, Bob (Lyn) Sherman; many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in passing by her maternal grandparents, Lewis (June) Hall.

Cremation will take place and a family gathering to honor her life will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to any substance abuse program of choice.
