Jeff was born in Lancaster County May 3, 1953. He was the son of the late Robert Raymond and Jean Frances (Jones) McLaughlin.
Before his retirement Jeff was employed by BAE Systems for 27 years.
Jeff graduated from JP McCaskey High School in 1971. Received a Bachelors Degree from Millersville and Masters Degree from York College.
Jeff loved swimming, racquetball, volleyball, biking, and gardening.
One of his greatest accomplishment was completing the Appalachian Trail.
In addition to his wife Brenda he is survived by his son Kyle McLaughlin and wife Kimberly of Mountville, PA, Stepdaughter Jessica Lewis and husband Christopher of Manchester, PA, Granddaughter Kendyl McLaughlin and Step granddaughter Olivia Lewis, brother Kerry McLaughlin and wife Joyce of Red Lion, PA, Mother in Law Charlotte Shultz, Hanover, PA and extended family members.
Memorial contributions can be made to Amedisys Hospice Care (Asecare), 984 Loucks Rd., Suite 1, York, PA 17404.
The Cremation Society of Pennsylvania Inc, Harrisburg, PA was in charge of the arrangements.
A Celebration of Life will be private and held at a later date.
