Bettie Jean Berry, 73-year-old Vinita resident, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022, at Heartsworth Nursing Center. She was born on January 20, 1948, in Picher, Oklahoma to Leroy Eugene Shuck and Patricia Evelyn (Elliott) Shuck. She was a 1967 graduate of Picher High School. Bettie lived in the Picher and Commerce area until moving to Vinita about 6 years ago. She was married to Carl Berry on December 7, 1991, in Cardin, Oklahoma. Bettie was a member of the Apostolic Life Tabernacle in Vinita. She loved football and was a major fan of the Picher Gorilla's and the Commerce Tigers football teams. Bettie and Carl enjoyed doing things together and visiting with their friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Clark Leroy "Mike" Shuck.
