What can we say about Drew… he was a one of a kind. Definitely a talker! He was a task master and got things done. Drew was very competitive and confident in himself. He liked to play video games with friends, listen to his vinyl records, had an encyclopedic knowledge about hip-hop and recently developed a love of country music. You could always find him cheering on the Houston Rockets, Kansas City Chiefs, Iowa Hawkeyes, Chicago Cubs and watching UFC fights. He was always up for a pick-up basketball game with his friends and would play harder than everyone. Drew loved spending time with his family. He would Facetime his brother almost every day. We will always remember your smile and your huge heart.

Drew will forever be remembered by his parents, Rob and Dee Gibson of Grinnell; his brother; his grandparents; his aunts and uncles, his many friends; and his beloved dog Sophie.

Drew was met with loving arms into Heaven by his grandmother, Marcia Dieleman and a special great uncle, Gary Whitehead.
