Peacefully passed away in her 101st year, with her loving family by her side. Mary was a devoted Wife, Mother, Baba and Great Baba. She was born in Olhovich, Poland. She was orphaned at the tender age of 8. Mary came to Halifax, Canada in 1929 by ship and immigration sent her to Vegreville, Alberta. Mary courageously worked her way back to Montreal. She married Gregory Kirpan, he passed away. She arrived in Toronto with her 5 year old daughter where she married Peter Chruszcz and had a second daughter. Peter passed away. Mary was a member of Karpathian Hall and the Ukrainian Canadian Hall where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
