Donald had retired from Pepsi Co as a local truck driver. After retiring for health reasons, Donald started driving an ice cream truck. He enjoyed bringing the joy of an ice cream treat to children of all ages.
Donald is survived by his son, Daniel Young, daughter Rianna Young, granddaughter, Cierra Young and great grandson Cash Young. He is also survived by his brothers, Fred, Harold and Terry, his sisters, Dorothy, Mary, Phyllis, Angela, Anette, and Wilma. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Helen, his son, John C., and a brother Reggie. He is also survived by his care givers Darrell Smith (Nephew) and Kylea Finley (daughter in law).
Celebration of life visitation will be held on Thursday May 5, 2022, from 12 noon until 2:00 PM at Indiana Memorial 3562 West 10th Street in Indianapolis.
