Rebecca "Becky" Olivia Switzer (Walker) of El Dorado, Kansas was reunited in death with her Lord and Savior on January 25, 2022. Becky was born in Wichita, Kansas to Jesse Everett Walker and Elsie Myrtle Walker (Chadwick) on August 9, 1950. Becky loved the Lord and was a member of Temple Baptist Church in El Dorado, Kansas for many years. She enjoyed singing, the fellowship and long-lasting friendships she made while attending church. Becky had many talents and was always making something for others. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking/baking, playing the piano, working crosswords and word find puzzles, and she really enjoyed scrabble and always seemed to win. Becky enjoyed watching old movies and game shows. She had a love for children. She had a daycare and even provided a safe haven for troubled children by opening her home to foster kids making a positive impact on the children, adults and families through her caring, loving, kind heart. Throughout her life, Becky mastered skills allowing her to hold a variety of career options. She worked in the fields of cosmetology, nursing, daycare provider, home health care, premier jewelry consultant, and prison guard. Becky was proud of her 1/8th Cherokee heritage. She was a member of the American Legion Post 81, Red Hats Society and TOPS.

Becky is survived by her husband, Ronald Eugene Switzer; daughter, ZiRita Kay Solis (Juan); grandson, Juan Reeves Solis of Ft. Riley, Kansas; cousin Tony and Patty Cooley; Step Children; Jason Switzer, Adam (Melanie) Switzer, Amber (Adam) Carver, Jana (Zac) Church; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren; a multitude of friends, chosen family and loved ones.

Becky was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Traynor (2001); her mother Elsie Myrtle Chadwick (Walker); Father, Jesse Everett Walker; Brother, Jessee E. Walker, and her twin sister, Rose. Becky is deeply missed by all who had the honor of getting to know her. The memories shared will comfort us and we will cherish the moments we had with her.

Memorial donations in Becky's name can be made to the El Dorado Animal Shelter.

A funeral service will be held at 10am on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Carlson Colonial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunset Lawns Cemetery.
