Abram John Joseph Apodaca, 45, died Sunday May 1, 2022 at his home in Dodge City, Kansas. He was born September 24, 1976 in Las Vegas, New Mexico, the son of John Apodaca and Sheila Maes.

Abram moved to Garden City as a young child and attended the local schools, upon completion he received certification training through Garden City Community College and Dodge City Community College. In 2018 he moved to Dodge City where he was employed as an E and I Technician for Plains All American Pipeline. Abram was always working on and fixing something, he was talented and gifted in everything he did. He was a collector of nostalgic oddities. Wherever he drove, he could be heard from blocks away with the bass of his music. Abram was happy to host any event, never leaving anyone hungry or sober. When Halloween was in season, he enjoyed decorating in ways that would put all gruels and goblins to shame. Abram had a way about him that could make anyone feel comfortable and accepted. He was loving, kind, and understanding father, son, and friend.

Survivors include Gloria Manzo of the home, Mother- Sheila Maes of Garden City, Kansas, Father- John Apodaca of Wagon Mound, New Mexico, Children- Dane Apodaca, Dameon Apodaca both of Garden City, Kansas, and Isaac Manzo of Dodge City, Kansas, Grandson- Gio, Sister- Monica Martinez of New Mexico, Grandmother- Marie Dawson of New Mexico, Aunts- Mable (Benny) Montoya of Wagon Mound, New Mexico, and Tessie Fernandez of New Mexico, along with numerous cousins and close friends.
