Emma Margaret Blagg, 88, of Mabelvale died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2006.
She was born April 1, 1917, in Mabelvale to William and Mary Frances Bauer.
Mrs. Blagg was retired from Chicopee Manufacturing Co., where she worked most of her many years there in the shipping and receiving department. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed bowling, dancing and living life to its fullest. Before illness prevented her attending, she was a member of Olive Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Ruben Bauer, Abe Bauer, Johnny Bauer and Ray Bauer; and one sister, Lois Speer.
Survivors include one son, Chancy Blagg and wife Berta of Maumelle; one daughter, Mary Johnson of Hagerstown, Md.; four granddaughters, Julie Wagener and husband John of New Market, Md.; Laurie Bender and husband Eric of Hagerstown, Md.; Crisiti Rourke and husband Gabriel of Maumelle; and Candi Langmaid and husband Logan of Cordova, Tenn.; seven great-grandchildren; and one brother, William Bauer.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Olive Hill Missionary Baptist Church at 14514 Chicot Road in Mabelvale, with the Rev. Randy Hester officiating. Burial will be in Olive Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home, 5800 W. 12th St. in Little Rock.
Family comments: She had a God-given talent for growing almost anything. She had an unwavering faith in her Lord.
