Meredith Louise Taylor Reese, 92, of Hayesville passed away Wednesday, May 04, 2022. She was born in Cherokee County to the late Raymond and Ethel Barker Taylor. Louise had worked as a Secretary in the Medical field. She enjoyed watching birds and taking care of her flowers. Louise always wanted to help others.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Moses Reese; a son, Randy Reese; a son-in-law, Danny "Chop" Patterson; and two brothers, Jerry Taylor and Gene Messer.

Surviving are a son, Dallas "Mike" Reese; two daughters, Ginger Hatchett and husband John and Pam Patterson; eight grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and special friend, Moedean Rice.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday, May 07, 2022 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home, Murphy with Rev. Aud Brown officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Reese, Jimmy Anderson, Jeff Fowler, Aaron Reese, Thomas Cain, and Seth Beaver. Jacob Anderson will serve as honorary pallbearer.

The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 pm Saturday, May 07 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home, Murphy prior to the services.
