Wayne Wooten, age 47, of Douglasville, passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 30, 2022. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama, on December 6, 1974, the son of Judy Diane Naramore and the late William Chester Wooten. Wayne was co-owner of Wooten Brothers Mechanical where he was also a pipe fitter welder. He was a Baptist by faith.
Wayne loved motorcycles. He owned six Harley Davidson bikes. He was a die-hard Alabama football fan. He loved to have fun and enjoyed life to the fullest. He enjoyed working and was an excellent welder. He was a big teddy bear and was a great protector and was a great son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He always had a huge smile. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his father, Wayne was also preceded in death by his sisters, Dana Joyce Wooten and Larinda Diane Wooten.
Wayne is survived by his mother, Judy Diane Naramore; brothers: Daryl (Micah) Wooten and Chet (Katie) Wooten; sisters, Cynthia Dawn (Timothy) LaFleur and Deborah Naramore; nieces, Samantha Wooten, Micayah McCormick, Olivia Wooten, Sabria LaFleur, and Baylee Wooten; uncles, Bruce (Kelly) Naramore, and Robert Naramore; aunt, Michelle (Billy) Cox; nephews, Nick LaFleur, John Brandon Hatley, Cameron Wooten, Houston McCormick, William Wooten, and Chet Allen Wooten, Jr.; great nephews, Landon Lawrence Hatley, and Cameron LaFleur; step mother, Cindy Wooten; numerous close friends.
The family will receive friends at Whitley-Garner at Rosehaven Funeral Home on Friday, May 13, 2022 from 6:00-9:00 pm.
The Funeral Service will be held in Rosehaven's Chapel on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 10:00 am with John Streetman, Dustin Streetman and Donovan Woodard delivering eulogies.
Interment will follow at 2:30 pm EDT in Saragossa First Baptist Church cemetery, 4232 Redmill Saragossa Road, Nauvoo, Alabama 35578.
