Daytona Beach, FL - Patricia Jane (Newman) Becker, 87, of Daytona Beach, FL and Hanover, PA passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022 at her residence in Florida.
Pat was born November 11, 1934 in Hanover, the daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy Croumer Newman and the step-daughter of the late Olive Newman.
She attended New Oxford High School and graduated in 1952.
Pat was the loving wife of N. Michael Becker whom she married on April 5, 1963; they recently celebrated 59 years of marriage.
She worked at Lana Lobell (later known as Hanover Direct).
Pat is survived by her husband; her two children, Jodie Hubler and husband James of Dover, PA and Scott Michael Becker and wife Tammy of New Oxford, PA; her 3 grandchildren, Lindsay Shellenberger of York, PA, Christopher Morroni of Tyrone, PA and Briana Becker of New Oxford, PA; her 8 great-grandchildren; her step-brother Jeffery Newman of Hawaii, her sister-in-law Caralyn Becker Mummert of Hanover, PA; and her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters - Janet Sisler, Mary Chadwick, Barbara Kaehler and Marcella (Tucky) Winemiller and her brother Robert Newman, Jr.
At Pat's request no formal funeral service will be held. A private service will be held at a later date to inter her ashes at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
