Death Notice - 5/3/2022 - News-Herald - Willoughby, Ohio, USA - Ryan Michael Swanson, age 29, went home to heaven to be with Jesus on Wednesday, April 27th, 2022. He was born on January 9th, 1993 in Euclid. Ryan was a beautiful soul, with the best smile and blue eyes. He instantly lit up a room with his charm, charisma, and wonderful sense of humor. He had a huge heart and was compassionate toward others. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. He will be dearly missed and cherished by all who loved him. He is now free from his pain and suffering. Surviving Ryan are his beloved mother: Carol A. Swanson-Bowen and stepfather William; loving siblings: Brandon Swanson, Brenda (Michael) McLaughlin, Terry (Bill) Gorka, Deborah (Ken) Kocsis, Tim (Marybeth) Taylor; cherished grandmother: Judy Westfall; loving aunts and uncle: Cindy Swanson and Sandra (Eric) Jochum, and several cousins, family members, and friends. Ryan was preceded in death by his beloved great-grandparents, Mary and Michael Stiscak, and great-uncle Frank Rustia. The family will receive friends from 4-8 pm Thursday, May 5, 2022, at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060. A funeral mass will be held at 9:30 am Friday, May 6, 2022, at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Rd., Mentor, OH 44060. Please meet at the church. Interment will be in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon.
