He was preceded in death by his mother, Sonja Navarre Schwab; niece, Jennifer Schwab and furbaby, Tater Tot.
Shane is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Paula; father, Buddy Schwab; siblings, Regina (Chuck) Strain, Ann (Wes) Parker, AJ (Lynn) Schwab; precious furbabies, Clifford the big brown dog, Rocky Balboa, Boo Kitten, Saison and Garfunkel along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Shane was easy to fall in love with. He possessed a kind and gentle soul that put people at ease. He believed in living life to the fullest and there was never a dull moment around him. Shane enjoyed fantasy football, poker, and traveling but his true love was his wife and furbabies.
In January 2021 their world stopped. The vow in sickness and in health was put to the test. When they were faced with Shane going to a facility, Paula stood by his side and took him home. They were together until his last breath honoring his final wishes. No words can express the heartbreak the family feels but they take comfort in knowing that this is not goodbye but until we meet again.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Enhabit Hospice formerly Encompass Hospice and E. J. Fielding Funeral Home for the love and support during this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Shane's honor to Petsmart Charities at www.petsmartcharities.org.
