Leonard J. Huntington, 91, of Moline, IL, passed away Monday, May 2, 2022, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.

Leonard was born on February 10, 1931, in Illinois City, the son of Bert and Ruth (Fowler) Huntington. He married Mildred Irene Miller on June 30, 1951, in Memphis, Missouri. She preceded him in death on July 12, 2021. Leonard previously worked in the maintenance department at the Moline School District, retiring in 1988, after almost 30 years. He enjoyed building things, traveling and playing Bingo.

Survivors include his children, Kenneth (Sally) Huntington, Texas, Carolyn Kopiak, Texas, and Barbara (Bob) Johnson, Bettendorf; grandchildren, Kendra, Lisa, Tresa, Beverly, and Amy; ten great grandchildren; six great, great grandchildren; and sister, Lela.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; sister, Loretta; and brother, Lester.
