Christopher (Chris) L. Holman was born March 6, 1962 in McKenzie, Tennessee to Rev. Howard and Sue Holman. Chris had lived in McKenzie, Tennessee; Bremen, Kentucky; Middletown, Ohio; and Smithville, Tennessee by the time his family moved to Dickson when he was nine years old. He graduated from Dickson High School in 1980. Chris was a gifted musician who played drums, piano, and trombone, and played and sang with several local bands as a young man.

He worked in sales and management for several companies in the Middle Tennessee area and was known as a top-notch salesman and excellent manager. In 2010, Chris married the love of his life, Karen, and moved to Fairview. There he opened his own business, Tiki Hut Tanning, and later established and ran Holman Florist in Fairview. He was an active part of the Fairview business community and the Fairview Chamber of Commerce.

Chris is survived by his beloved wife, Karen, and his treasured son, Kevin Holman, of Dickson. He is also survived by his sister, Dr. Kathy Carson (Don) of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, and his brother, David Holman (Susan) of Dickson.
