Services for James Allen Ross will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 7, 2022 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Brother Nathan Martin and Brother Buddy Martin officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park.

The family requests visitation be held Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Hixson Brothers, Pineville from 12:00 p.m. until service.

Mr. Ross, 72, of Pineville passed from this life, Monday, May 2, 2022.

Mr. Ross proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Viet Nam conflict. During his working life, he pursued a career in human relations, retiring after many years of service with CLECO. He was a member of Christian Challenge Worship Center, Pineville, keeping strong in his faith reading his bible daily. His interest included all things technology and playing computer games.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen James and Jane Palmer Ross.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Doris Allien Ross; daughters, Melanie Ross Perry, Allison Ross (Matthew) Starling, Pamela (Eric) Gibson; son, Jerode Nickolas (Anita) Elliott; grandchildren, Heath (Jill) Elliott, Meghann Moriah (Caleb) Lugar and Kynzer Elliott; great grandchildren, Dalton Elliott, Jax Elliott and Madilyn Elliott and one on the way; sisters, Rita (James) Oliver, Teresa (Ernest) Guillemette, Marianne (Timothy) Mullaly and Jeanne Marie Ross; brothers, George (Debra) Ross and Steve Ross; a nephew, Lance Allen Ross, and a host of other family members and friends.
