Thomas J. Fowler, 21, was a lifelong resident of Etiwanda, California, died suddenly March 11th at 8:36 pm when he was struck by a vehicle while driving his motorcycle to get his dinner.

Thomas is survived by his parents, John and Candice Fowler, his grandfather, George Nachtsheim, his brothers, John and Kyle Fowler. He is preceded in death by his Grandfather, John M. Fowler and his Grandmother, Virginia L. Kovach and his Step Grandfather, Ronald B. Kovach.

After many years of waiting, Thomas was born in Upland, California on September 26, 1999. He attended and achieved high scholastic scores while a student in the Etiwanda School District. He went on to graduate two years early from Etiwanda High School. While a student at EHS, Thomas earned a certificate in Cyber Security through Baldy View R.O.P.

Thomas worked initially, as a busser then became a server at Isla Mirada at Bass Pro for 5 years. He worked briefly for Amazon while Isla Mirada was closed because of Covid restrictions. He then returned to Bass Pro working in receiving in the warehouse. Thomas had just given his two weeks' notice to Bass Pro as he had signed on to become a Manager for Cycle Gear. He was beyond thrilled at his new opportunity.

Thomas had many interests. He loved to golf with his friends, shoot, ride his dirt bike, build computers for friends and help them fix their cars…no matter how late he got off work. He taught all his friends how to drive a manual transmission and how to ride a motorcycle. Thomas often stopped and helped people whose cars had broken down push them off the road. Once he even doubled back on the 210 freeway to help a man push his car up the Haven off ramp late at night. He was a very generous person who gave an almost new helmet to a friend who did not have a very good one because he was concerned for his safety. Likewise, when he purchased a new computer, he shipped his old one to an online friend who was in need and without the means to buy a new one. Thomas loved his family and friends, the rain, his mom's meatloaf, 80's music, especially Blondie and his dogs, Annie, Bob and Daisy. Although he did not speak of it to many, Thomas was a believer in Christ and it showed in his actions. Thomas will be missed deeply by his family and his many friends, now and forever.

Thomas's funeral service was delayed due to the impact of Covid restrictions. His Grandparents, Ronald and Virginia Kovach will be interned with him. Services will be held Monday, May 24, 2021 at 10:00 in the morning at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary at 3520 E. Washington St. Colton, CA 92324, USA.
