Margaret "Maggie" Burns, 71, Holts Summit, Missouri passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at her home surrounded by family. She was born on December 14, 1950, in Fulton, a daughter of the late Floyd Allen and Gertrude (Harris) Allen. Maggie was united in marriage in 1970 to Charles Burns.

Maggie attended Fulton High School. She was employed with Von Hoffman Press and The Missouri Department of Transportation. She collected beanie babies, porcelain cows, loved gardening and rehabilitating sick or stray animals. Most of all, Maggie cherished spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Charles; children, Charles Wesley Burns (Denise), Christopher Wayne Burns (Bobbie), Mark Allen Burns; brother, Wallace Allen; sisters, Cordy Wolfe, Terry Click; grandchildren, Zachary Burns, Kyndra Rich, Bryant Mertz, and Adam Boone. Maggie was preceded in death by her sisters; Betty Witt, Suzie Estes; brothers; Randy Allen, Sonny Allen, and Buzzy Allen; grandchildren, Ryan Allen Burns, Charles Burns, Stephen Burns, and Grant Burns.

Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Funeral services will follow at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Nolan Wynn officiating. Burial will follow at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
