On 17 May 1905 she married John D. Faulkner in Iron County Missouri. Together they had 3 children
Eva Marie-1905, Herbert Lee-1909 (aka Herbert Carlos), and Ersel Ray-1911.
Family history indicates that bout 1911-12, Susie Bunch Faulkner left John D. Faulkner and took all 3 kids and went to Detroit, Michigan. Their names are written in the family bible which I possess. She apparently met some guy whose last name was Carlos. Herbert must have liked him because he started using Carlos as his last name. I do not think she ever married Carlos. According to his grand-daughter, Herbert married as Herbert Lee Carlos. During WWII the US GOV discovered that the name on his birth certificate and the name he was using were not the same; so Herbert had his last name legally changed to Carlos.
On 31 Dec 1935 she married Joseph E. Martyn in Detroit, Wayne County Michigan.
