Visitation for Joy will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Riverwood Family Funeral Service from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. There will be a graveside service held on Friday at Easthaven Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Rev. L.D. Fletcher will officiate.
Joy, age 86, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, October 15, 2017, at her residence in Waynesboro, MS.
She was born on March 22, 1931 to John and Vonnie Byrd Mohon in Lincoln County, MS.
Joy was the wife of the late Robert Lee Durr. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend that will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Joy is survived by her son, Dean Durr and wife Vicky; two grandchildren, Keri Leigh Durr Sherman and husband Chris, and Kelli Elizabeth Durr Pflughoft and husband Kit.'
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Durr; as well as her parents.
