Julie was born on September 7, 1955, in Springfield, Missouri. She was the loving daughter of Robert M. and Elizabeth Ann (Wyrsch) Jennings. She earned her master's degree in Education from Drury College in Springfield, Missouri. She was united in marriage to the love of her life Mike Lewandowski on April 19, 1980. Julie enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, reading, listening to music, and most of all; being surrounded by the ones she loved. Julie was very active in the church and the community. She was a Special Education teacher, a religious education teacher and helped run the family business. Most of all Julie was a loving Wife, Mom, Grandmother "JuJu", Daughter, Sister, and Friend.
Julie was preceded in death by her father, Bob and her daughter, Jessie. She is survived by her husband Mike, her mother Elizabeth, her three children; Rebecca Johnston (Wesley), Addie Allgood (Ronnie), Joey Lewandowski (Chelsey), her three sisters; Teresa Brown (Gary), Patty Coss (Joe), LeAnn Jennings, and her brother Mike Jennings (Angie.) She was blessed with seven grandchildren: Tripp, Berkley, Bennett, Bodie, Leo, Blaklynn, and Jesse.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5-7 PM, Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove. Services will be held at 10:00 AM April 1, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Grove. Julie will be laid to rest in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
