Elizabeth Joan Bell passed away peacefully on April 25, 2022, at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Bill Bell; loving mother of Steve, Tom, Mary, and Barbara; devoted grandmother of Melanie, Lia, Layla, Arianna, and Julian; dear sister of Kathi, Fran, Rosemary, and Bob. She grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, received her nursing credentials at Philadelphia General Hospital School of Nursing and her Master's from UC Davis School of Nursing. She worked as a Nurse Practitioner in the UC Davis Pediatric Emergency Department, and as a Triage Nurse Practitioner at Loaves & Fishes. She was also a Master Food Preserver and would donate her proceeds from jam sales to help the homeless. She'll be missed greatly by all who knew her for her kind heart and generosity. Friends are welcomed for a rosary vigil beginning at 9:00 AM followed by a memorial mass at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 10 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church located at 26th & K Streets in Sacramento. Burial will follow immediately after at St. Mary's Cemetery at 21st Avenue and 65th Street. Remembrances may be made to Loaves & Fishes, P.O. Box 2161, Sacramento, CA 95812.
