Watson – Ann S. Watson, age 75, of Glen St. Mary, Florida passed away on April 20, 2022, at St. Vincent's Riverside in Jacksonville, Florida with her loving husband by her side. She was born in Connecticut on November 20, 1946, and raised by her loving parents, Benjamin Stewart and Gussie Stewart, in Jacksonville, FL. Ann graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and went on to earn an associate degree in Accounting from FCCJ. She married the love of her life, Franklin "Frank" Aris Watson, Sr. on October 23, 1993, and together they have enjoyed the last 28 years of amazing marriage. Ann had a long successful career at Blue Cross and Blue Shield as a Medicare Analyst where she proudly served for 22 years until her retirement in 2000. A short time later, Ann and Frank relocated to Baker County. She attended Taylor Church, loved scrapbooking and embroidery, and was a cat lover who adored her 15-20 cats. Most of all, Ann loved her family and enjoyed spending precious time with them. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Elizabeth Lopez.
Ann is survived by her husband, Franklin "Frank" Aris Watson, Sr. of Glen St. Mary, FL; daughter, Christina (Henry) Williams of Jacksonville, FL; stepchildren, Franklin A. Watson, Jr. of Glen St. Mary, FL, Amy Lee Schantenburte and Amanda Nicole Busbee; 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Ann's Life will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Taylor Church with Chaplain Jim Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Taylor Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday an hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are under the care and direction of V.
