Born in Decatur, Alabama, Mr. Reed lived in Valparaiso, FL, and Washington, DC for several years before moving to Marietta, GA in 1978. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during the Vietnam War. Afterwards, he worked for the Federal Government for 30 years before retirement. He was an extreme outdoorsman, and loved hunting, fishing, and time with his grandchildren. He was also an avid Alabama Crimson Tide Football Fan! He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Nathan and Ruby Mae Reed.

(Mary Lou) Reed, Niceville, FL; Grandchildren, Hannah Lynne (Gabe) Cobb, Temple, GA, Emma Layne Loveless, Silver Creek, GA, and Nathan Lee (Kashlyn) Colston, Marietta, GA; Brother-in-Law, Ronald Watson, Marietta, GA, and many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
