Keith William Burns, 69, Carthage, Missouri, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2022 at his home. Keith was born February 15, 1953 in Carthage, Missouri, the son of
James Kenneth Burns, Sr. and Helena Francis (Redmond) Burns. Keith worked at the Ireco Powder Plant in Carthage.
Survivors include his significant other, Christine McMillen; one sister, Sheila Davis (Miles); three brothers, Claude Burns (Joan), Harley Burns (Dorena), and Chestene Burns; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Angela Ruth (Burns) Hill ; two brothers, James Kenneth Burns, Jr. and Jesse A. Burns ; and a nephew, Clifton James Burns.
Per Keith's wishes, there was cremation, and memorial graveside services will be held 10 am, Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Carthage. Rev. George Triplett will officiate. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to help with Keith's funeral expenses.
Final arrangement entrusted to Knell Mortuary of Carthage, Missouri.
