Teresa H. (O'Connor) Law, 96, of Lansdale, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 24, 2022, at her residence with her family at her side. She was the beloved wife of the late William G. Law, Sr.

Born December 28, 1925, in Newark, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Patrick and Winifred (Egan) O'Connor.

Teresa Law (Terry) was born and raised in Newark, NJ, and was the 5th of 7 children. After graduating from High School she worked as a bookkeeper for the Prudential Insurance Company before meeting and marrying her beloved husband, Bill Law, in 1951. They settled in Lansdale where they raised their two boys. Terry was the heart and soul of her family and enjoyed all aspects of being a wife and mother. She loved attending both of her sons' athletic events and academic accomplishments. She loved having a gang of their friends over to the house, especially after Christmas midnight services. Christmas was her favorite holiday and when her two boys were young, she always felt sad when all of the gift-giving was over, so she started a tradition of leaving one last gift at the Christmas dinner table for them. This special tradition has now been shared and carried on by her children and their extended families.

Terry dearly loved her four grandchildren and spent many Christmas and Easter holidays split between Pennsylvania and Florida. She was happiest when all four of them were together and able to spend time with her. She loved to cook for them and many of her meals have become their favorites. She was so proud of all of their accomplishments and even prouder of the fine adults that they have become.

Terry loved to decorate, and she and her husband, Bill, would routinely search for unique items to add to their home. Over the years, she continually added to her collections and even in her last months was re-arranging her living room from her hospital bed. Her home was her sanctuary and reading was her passion. She enjoyed spending afternoons reading, and her extensive book collection was very special to her. She spent over 25 years in the BCB Book Club and was happy to share her interest and insight in a new book every month. Her book club ladies remained very special to her. She was also an avid bowler and participated in a bowling league for many years. Terry easily made friends throughout her life, but none were as special as her closest friends, Cathy, Dee, and Ruthie.

Above all, Terry's greatest legacy was her gracious and caring manner and she lived her life with un-conditional love for everyone she met. She was always concerned for her family and friends and she would make it her priority to call and inquire about someone who may have been sick or worrying over something. She was notorious for sending cards for holidays and special occasions and she always signed her cards writing, "God Love Ya!!"

Terry was a long-time member of St. Stanislaus Church in Lansdale and routinely attended the Saturday evening 5:15 pm Mass, with rosary beads in hand.

She is survived by her sons, William G. Law, Jr. and his wife, Julie, of Groveland, FL, and Robert B. Law and his wife Karen, of Lansdale, PA; her brother, Michael O'Connor (Betty); her grandchildren, Catherine (Chuck), Caroline (Alvin), Carolyn (Brooks), and Bob; and her great-grandchildren, Evelyn, Nora, Caleb, Charlotte, Emilia, Brooks, and Audrey.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her siblings, Lillian Corcoran, Patrick O'Connor, Lawrence O'Connor, Mary McLaughlin, and Joanne O'Connor.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Ave, Lansdale, PA 19446, where friends may greet the family from 9-9:45 AM.
