On March 25, 1950, she married the love of her life, Dr. Conrad H Galloway.
Rachel was a member of Central Christian Church and Tri Kappa. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed playing golf, which she even made a hole in one. She enjoyed her bible study and her seven great grandchildren. She would light up like a Christmas tree when someone would talk about them.
She is survived by her sons; Scott (Marguerite) Galloway, and Craig Galloway, her four grandchildren; Mandy (Kevin) Reinhart, Chad Galloway, Nicole (Jeremy) Halpern, and Morgan Galloway, her seven great grandchildren and her sister; Regina Gabbert.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Conrad Galloway, her parents; Samuel and Eva (Pavey) Box, her brothers; Ralph Box, Rodney Box, and her sisters; Norma Adams, and Radonna Sears.
