James D. Morrissey May 1, 2020 Jim was born in Dixon, Illinois and moved to Syracuse as a young boy with his family. He attended Bishop Ludden High School where he developed a strong interest in sports and made many lifelong friendships. Jim earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from LeMoyne College. While living in Delray Beach Jim was employed by Yamaha Corporation, Bennett Marine. He enjoyed living in the Delray area. Jim was especially fond of the weather and weekend kayaking on the intracoastal. Jim is survived by his daughter, Meagan (John) Dayton; his son, James P. Morrissey; his parents, James and Rita Morrissey; sisters, Ann (Mark) Barlow, Kathryn (Thomas) Saxton, Susan (Michael) Junior, Diane (James) Chitwood; plus, a number of nieces and nephews. Services will be private at this time. A memorial service will be held for Jim at a later date.
