George Cleveland Davis, age 73, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022, in Ocean Springs, MS, where he was a resident for the past ten years.
George was born on January 1, 1949, in Atlanta, GA. He was a proud Vietnam veteran. George retired from Florida Power & Light as a lineman with 43 years of service. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). George loved classic cars and motorcycles. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who always sacrificed to ensure his family had what they needed or wanted.
George is preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Bessie Davis. Survivors include his wife, Janice Facente Davis; son, Scott (Robin) Davis of Ocean Springs; and four grandchildren, Georgia Rose, RJ, Scott Jr., and Graham.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on May 10, 2022, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 502 Jackson Ave, Ocean Springs, MS. Friends may visit an hour prior. Interment will be at Biloxi National Cemetery.
