Lambert, Mary Sue T. Of Jackson, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022 at the age of 67. She is survived by her husband. Mary Sue was born in Jackson, Michigan to Janice Mary Freiberg (Myers) and Norman Carl Freiberg. After graduating from St Joseph Academy, a girls Catholic school in Adrian, MI, she worked various jobs and at age 20 she enlisted and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. She earned the rank of Corporal and worked as an Administration Clerk. After her honorable discharge, she acquired an associate's degree in accounting and spent her career a bookkeeper. Among her accomplishments was to help Tom Coffeys Soft Water develop their first Water Store, worked as a salesperson, software development for Commercial Business Systems, joined the management team at Auto One Corporate Office and finished her career as the Accounting Controller at Ididit Corporation, a manufacturing facility in Tecumseh, MI. She proudly served in various capacities for the Military Women of Jackson County whose commander honored her with an award for her efforts. She was also very proud of her time spent helping youth through Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Jackson and was also given an award for her service. According to her wishes she will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Military Honors on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 2:00 PM.
