Jimmie "Jim" Lee Brewer was born in Bakersfield, CA on September 23, 1943 to Fred Brewer and Cecile L. Burnett. He entered his heavenly home on April 30, 2022 in Oklahoma City.

Jim was an active member of church, where he served in Sunday school and ushered. His church was a big part of his life. He enjoyed sports, especially football and OU women's softball.

Jim proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.

Jim is survived by his companion of many years, Gloria Ann Straka; Gloria's son, Jeff Straka; and Gloria's daughter, Krista Costilow and husband David; sister, Ruth Elaine Waldron and husband Ray; sister Carol Bray; brother, Carl Brewer and wife Sheryl; grandchildren, Claire Costilow and Chloe Castilow; and many other nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be Friday, May 6, 2022 from 9am-8pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service in Bethany. Service will be 11:00am Saturday, May 7, 2022 in Resurrection Memorial Cemetery Chapel with interment to follow in Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
