Christy's story began on May 30, 1970, when she was born to to Belinda Tosh and the late Don Brown in Denver City, TX.
Christy graduated from Guthrie, TX where she was voted "Best Personality" and a member of the Honor Society. No matter where she called home, Christy was always actively involved in the community. One of her greatest joys was being a member of the Apache Regional Foundation. Christy enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, taking the best care of her garden and flowers, and stargazing under her favorite windmill with her favorite person, Heath.
Christy was very vibrant and outgoing. Never met a stranger – Always with a smile on her face and stars in her eyes. Greyson, was her pride and joy, the sunshine of her gloomy days. Nightly FaceTime chats with her Gigi was part of their bedtime routines. On the rough days, Greyson seemed to know when they were happening and gave her extra cuddles and a "Gigi, I love you.
She was preceded in death by husband Stanley "Heath" Adams.
Survivors include sons, Michael (Brenda) Hall, Tuttle, OK; Kadon Hall, Apache, OK; daughter, Bobi Jene Claborn, Apache, OK; step-sons, Laythen (Carey) Adams, Panama City Beach, FL.; granddaughter Greyson Hall; mother Belinda (Tommy)Tosh, Apache, OK; brother, David (Charla) Brown, Aspermont, TX; Aaron Sibert, Apache, OK; sister, Ava "Bill" Peterson Abilene, TX; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services at The First Baptist Church, Apache, OK and another at The Guthrie Activity Center, Guthrie, TX. Christy will lie in rest next to her beloved husband, Heath, in the Guthrie Cemetery under the care and direction of GilesMcCoy Funeral Home.
