Age 29, of Erie, fought a long, courageous, battle after going into heart failure in 2013. He receive a life-saving heart transplant in 2016, but then went into heart failure again in 2020. He is the son of Pamela and Robert O. Brown, Jr. He graduated from Corry High School in 2012. He was a very talented musician. He played the trumpet for the marching band and was an amazing pianist. He was an avid football fan, truly one of the Pittsburgh Steelers biggest. Marty was a loving husband and father, with a huge sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by an uncle, Kevin Lakey; his paternal grandparents, Mary and Robert Oliver Brown, Sr.; and his great-grandparents, Eula Fay and Roland Kenneth Terry.
He is survived by his wife, Jessica (Bradshaw) Brown; one son, Colton Brown; parents; a sister, Khristina Jo Bowman, her husband and their children, Josh, Elena and Asher Bowman; three brothers, Mason Roy Brown, Ethan Roland Brown and his wife "Jojo" and Robert Oliver Brown, III; his maternal grandparents, Anita Gail and Don Roy Lakey; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
