Patricia Ann Reed, known to everyone as "Turkey", 52, of Bluefield died on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at PCH Bluefield ER. Born April 3, 1969 in Welch she was the daughter of the late Charles E. "Train" Travis and Ada Mary Reed. Patricia was a graduate of Mt. View High School in Welch and a member of New Vision United Holiness Church in Northfork. Patricia loved music, especially old school Patty LaBelle, Anita Baker, and Betty White to just name a few. She would be the first and last one breaking it down on a dance floor. She loved to dance and was a good dancer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Kameron Dashawn Reed. She is survived by her children, Michael Terez Jones of Bluefield, and Takeisha Symone Reed of Wilmington, NC; fiancé of 30 plus years, Ansley Parker Jones who stayed by her side throughout her illness; six grandchildren, Keyamoni, Kamarion, Kamya, Nevaeh, Nabeelah, and Sydni Gabrielle; four sisters, Elizabeth Reed of North Carolina, Priscilla Reed of Princeton, Angela Reed of Bluefield, and Yolonda Reed of Bluefield, VA; sister/cousin, Aundra Reed; incredibly special aunt and uncle, Gladys, and Nathanial Evans of Princeton; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends that were more like family and loved her very much. A homegoing service to celebrate Patricia's life will be held on 1:00 PM on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Bishop Sue Heartwell officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Bluefield. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until the service hour on Friday. Please follow all COVID-19 guidelines set forth by the Governor's office and local health department by social distancing and wearing masks for your safety and the safety of others.
