Kimberly Michelle Wallace was born to the late Annetta Gail Slaughter Wallace and Harry Wallace on July 9, 1965 in Bluefield, WV. She was educated in the Mercer County Public School System and was a graduate of Bluefield High School. Kimberly was of the Protestant faith. Upon graduation from high school she moved to Charlotte, North Carolina and resided there until her untimely death. She was employed by Summitt Place Retirement Home in Charlotte, NC where she was a highly respected and admired employee. Kimberly was preceded in by her brothers Jamall, John, Michael, Paul, James, and Jerome, and her sister Patricia. Her grandparents Ashford "Sonny" Slaughter and Jewell Harding Slaughter preceded her as well. Kimberly leaves to cherish her memories to her only child Tamecka M. Wallace of Charlotte, NC. Three granddaughters: Mikayla, Amani, and Brianna Martin of Charlotte, NC that she adored and cherished. Brothers: Forrest "Rod" Slaughter of Bluefield, WV, Charles (Tracy) Wallace of Charlotte, NC, Tony (Pam) Wallace of Myrtle Beach, SC. Reverend Courtney Wallace of Bluefield, WV, Clarence Wallace of Charlotte, NC, Thomas (Ida) Wallace, Johnny Wallace both of Bluefield, WV and Billy Wallace of Durham, NC. Sisters: Latoya, Phyllis, and Susie Wallace all of Bluefield, WV. Special great-nephew/Godson, Allah "Grandad" Hurt of Bluefield, WV. Special friend/companion Jessie Jefferson of Charlotte, NC. She also leaves a host of loving nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, and friends too numerous to mention. There was never a dull moment when Kim was around. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM, Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Courtney Wallace officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2:00 PM until the service hour on Saturday. In keeping with Kimberly's wishes her body will be cremated following the service.
