One of the most famous agents in soccer. A dual citizen of Italy and the Netherlands, he began his career in the Netherlands in 1992, where he had lived since moving there as a child, helping transfer Dutch players to Italy's Series A. After starting his own agency, he became a renowned "super-agent" who was involved with many of the most high-profile and expensive transfers of the new millennium. A controversial figure, he developed a reputation among players as an agent who achieved the best for his clients, while many owners and managers saw him as an untrustworthy figure.

After operating Paul Pogba's from Juventus to Manchester United for a world record breaking transfer fee in August 2016, he was reportedly paid €25 million of Paul Pogba's €105 million transfer fee as a commission. He then bought the former home of America's most famous gangster, Al Capone, in Miami for €9 million.
